Recipe: Magic Green Sauce

Consider this sauce your answer to what’s for dinner tonight. You can spoon this Magic Green Sauce onto just about anything to heighten the flavor. I love that it combines creamy + herby + umami + bright citrus flavors.

I always have a few different sauces on hand to make meal time EASY. Most of our meals involve veggies + grains + sauce.   Some favorites include - 

Sauteed veggies + corn tortilla + this sauce = bomb ass tacos.

Quinoa + beans + veggies + sauce = nourishing buddha bowl.

Spread it on a sandwich or wrap for next level flavor.

Use it as a dip for veggies for snacktime or get fancy with a crudite platter. 

Ingredients:

1 cup sunflower seeds, soaked

½ bunch cilantro, stems and all

1 lime juiced

1 T miso paste

To Make:

Drain and rinse sunflower seeds. Blend all ingredients, adding water until desired consistency is reached.  For brightest flavors, use immediately. Keep in an airtight glass jar in fridge.
